Certainly not a 289 "expert" but I truly believe that is their best effort so far.
TN Shelby Cobra likes this.

It looks pretty good to me. A couple things stick out like rollbar angle and the cowl brace tubing but from what I can see by the photo's, it's pretty good overall.
Is it a 3" tube frame? What's the track width?

Not a 289 expert either. Looks alright. Several things stick out in regards to the body, but a good effort overall. Personally I'd also investigate the SPF 289 offering.

I notice it's a little too tall where the door meets the fender. The door should sit a little more down and the body get "skinny" there. Also the bottom edge of the body doesn't have any dip to it. That's pretty common in the replica world though. Agree with Jamo that it's one of their best offerings, especially for a debut model.

I would be happy to have one in my garage.
Comments....agreed the doors don't slope down enough; on the front fenders, the clearance to the tyre is too great ie the opening looks to be too big.
Cheers,
Glen

I agree with the observations noted above, and a very nice effort indeed!

I'll leave the 'expert' analysis to the likes of Trevor and Nedsel & company. However, to my enthusiast eye, the cowl brace tubing on the transmission tunnel should be more vertically oriented, the shift lever is too tall and it looks like the the brake and clutch are hung from above … all very minor nit picks.

Along with the SPF 289 FIA offering, ERA, Krikham and the Shelby CSX7000 all have a lot to offer as well, at different lead times and price points of course.

I would dive it and enjoy it too, nice to see more offerings in the 289 world. I would think this FFR FIA should do quite well.

Side by Side comparison of the original (CSX-Two Two Six Zero) which is the one Dave Smith of Factory Five Racing cloned to build the new FFR 289 Roadster. You can see it's an incredibly correct execution, not 100% but damn close!
Side by side comparison, (CSX-Two Two Six Zero) on the left and FFR FIA on the right in all photos.

I think that you'll agree that this is an extremely nice offering for the 289 FIA market!
