Where can you purchase the 3M 77 ?
Have you had any problem with it leaking through the paint?
I'm purchasing 1' X 25" wide 1/8" thick Neoprene Rubber for $41.00. is that a reasonable price?
From Cardinal Rubber. 1408 Commerce Rd Richmond VA.

Most contact cements don't have that high of a temperature rating and the top of fenders get pretty warm in the sun. The best type of contact cement to use on these cars is the Landau Top contact cement that is for vinyl tops and is heat resistant. However, I've only seen it in gallon cans and it's not cheap but it's good. Can be brushed or rolled on.

I ended up using 3M 847 in 1qt can. I talked to a few people and 3M about it. The trick is to put it on and let it sit for a good 5 min. Coat inner fender and neoprene. Touch it with your finger. Nothing should come off. I did the entire inner fender in pieces. Filled all the seems with Black RTV. It's solid now. Too bad I didn't find it was coming loose before I found the spider crack!
