Default SN95 hubs/spindles on mustangII arms

Has anybody replaced mustangII spindles with SN95 spindles using an upper ball joint adapter like the one FFR sells. I have scoured the web and get no clear answer on this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes. I have done it. I put the spindles from a 98 Cobra on my M2 front end. I had to modify the lower control arm as the M2 balljoint is not at the correct angle for the SN spindle. For the top, I used adapters from a FF. The upper control arm needs to be pretty short to get the spindle to sit correctly. I had installed coilovers as the adapter from the FF would not clear the M2 upper spring perch. Not a bad deal as the spring and shock set-up on the original M2 is pretty old technology anyhow.

Thanks for the reply. If i understand I would have to remove the upper spring seat and convert to tru coil over. Would you happen to have any pics you could post. Also how did it effect the front track width? Thanks again for taking the time to help me!!!
