Not the first. Soon after Dodge started selling the new Hemi as a crate engine there were several Hemi builds on the FFR forum.

I finished mine back in 2006. Dropped a 528 Hemi Crate into a E-M with a C4 Corvette suspension. I've modified the suspension and brakes since these photos.

Its ironic that some people think that a 426 hemi only lives in a `40 Willys coupe or Topfuel dragster....

Hey which is the manufacturer of those rims? are they 15"? Where can I get a set like it?

Was this at me Lou? If it was, those are 17" wheels with a custom made offset by Boyd Coddington. Here are more of the specifications: Hemi Snake

That engine did not sound nor spin up fast enough to be anything extraordinary.
I like the hood scoop HemiSnake, Custom design or bought and trimmed!!?

Back when I ordered the car, Everett-Morrison was selling the larger scoops as an option. I wasn't sure if I really needed it, but figured it couldn't hurt. Turns out I still had to remove my 1" carburetor spacer.

Congrats on putting together the car that fueled endless discussions when I was in high school: "Can you imagine what a Cobra would do with a Hemi in it?" We also discussed what a Hemi would do in a Bugeye Sprite and that's been done, too: Untitled Document
