Signature protection
Hey, everybody, got an easy question. I was fortunate enough, like many others, to get Shelby's signature on the glove box cover of my Superformance before he passed. He had a "good day" when he signed it back in Jan. of 2011. Anyway, my son noticed a bit of fade a few days ago which got me to thinking I ought to do something to protect this... forever! I have to assume he used a silver paint pen. So considering the glove box cover is vinyl (I think) what do any of you recommend I use to cover said signature? Perhaps some type of matt-finish overspray that hopefully won't damage the paint? Or perhaps a plastic covering of some sort? I can ask an art supply store for their recommendation but me thinks there are those of you that have already traveled this road and have a good suggestion. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thank you!
