I hear your pain. However, the bright side is that you can use the knowledge from what was done to make your second time around better. It took me 15 months to sort out the mess that Bill Andrews from HRE Motorcars created. I look at what he did as the foundation of what not to do and now that my car is done, I know now that the proper engineering and workmanship has been implemented in all aspects. It was a painful and costly exercise but sometimes you have to take a step back to take a few steps forward.
