Sorry to hear of Ricks passing, I was always interested in his postings and his questions. Rick, you will be missed!

That's real sad news. I didn't know Rick, but enjoyed reading his posts. He always seemed ready to help out.
I remember a touching post he made just a couple of months ago called "Good Friends and their lasting memories" about a close friend who died suddenly from a heart attack. Sounds like Rick was the kind of guy who had a lot of good friends who will have lasting memories of him. RIP Rick Parker. |
I think when this thread has run it's course it should be packaged up and given to the family so they know what he meant to all of us.
That's up to JAMO and Computerworks if they think it's appropriate. |

Rick was the kind od guy who would reach and help anyone. We shared lot 's of conversations about tuning our weber carbs and cobras etc...

Had several PM conversations with Rick over the years, always interested in what I might be up to and keen to share/help with info. He definitely did a lot of research on what combo to put into the latest motor he was building. RIP friend.

This is very sad news indeed. Being relatively new to the NorCal Cobra group, I only had the privelege of talking with Rick on three or four occasions, but I certainly enjoyed his conversation and Cobra wisdom. Very sad to lose one of the good guys.

What a loss, not only to his family but to our community.
Rick was one of the tech gurus on this forum. I have asked many questions and it was my experience that if Rick posted an answer, you could take it to the bank b/c it was always right on! My condolences to his family and friends, including those here on Club Cobra who had interactions with him. His presence will be sorely missed by those of us left to carry on. This is very sad news. He and I had been discussing exhaust fabrication. He has been very helpful and I will miss his posts and his help.

This was a real shock and I will miss him very much. He came up here with his Cobra to go for a drive with me and see some of the country and we talked almost weekly. Just a couple of weeks ago he was asking me to help him with his computer. His knowledge and workmanship will be greatly missed by all of us.
