I'm numb, my last email from Rick was only three days ago, and now he's gone. It's hard to get my head around that fact. With his wealth of knowledge, that he was always willing to share, he will be sorely missed.
The Cobra community has truly lost a good friend. Rest in peace, buddy.

Wow, we're all at a loss. How sad. I too was having PM exchanges with Rick within the last couple of weeks, Weber conversations no less. My condolences to his family and close friends, he will definitely be missed.
Sincerest regards,
Earl J Castillo

Rick helped me with numerous questions before, during and after my build. Did not matter if you had just joined CC or been a founding member, he was always there for one and all with a wealth of information and invaluable suggestions. Sincerest condolences to Rick’s family and friends.

My gosh, that's heartbreaking. This is reduntant, but he was just a wonderful man. He helped me with a number of things as he most graciously did with others. He will be sorely missed.
Rest in Peace brother Rick!

Rest in Peace
So sorry to hear about Rick. We lost another good one. He and I helped each other solve our weber intake cooling issues. I will miss him on this site. My prayers to his family and friends.

Wow! Rick & I shared a lot of emails back & forth, over the years. One of the pulleys on my motor, I bought from him. Really sad to hear! I'll miss seeing his posts & the occasional email.

I talked to Rick just two hours before he died. I was about to fly an airplane that I had just purchased with another lifelong friend. Rick repeatedly told me to be careful. The weather could have been an issue. I told him that there was no way I would fly unless it was clear skies. He was so concerned with our safety on the trip back with a plane we were not familiar with. We made the trip back safely and with-in one hour I had received the news that he had passed. I was going to call him and tell him we were back, but I got the call before I could even try to call him. It still has not set in....

I'm so very sorry to hear of Rick's passing. He had helped me with advice a number of times, as he had with many of us here. We will all miss you.
Cheers Rick
