Guys, be forewarned, ferrari red, i.e. Rosso Corsa, comes in over a dozen variations. From the 1940's to present it changed considerably from early, more maroon to current somewhat orange in tone. If you go to a good shop with color plates you will see. The versions from the 60's are the very intense reds that really pop.
This I know from years of building very high end sports and formula models, mostly 1/24 and 1/43 scale involving an extensive paint shop. Even a few high detail Cobras along the way.

Sea2jet -

Can you post a picture of your car outside in the sun? It looks great and may be my next color.

John

Here you go John. Not the best picture. The car is at ERA. I can take some better ones when I go to pick it up. It does take on a different look outside in the sunlight. I like it best in the shade. Not sure where you are located but it can be seen at ERA... Bob, I completely agree, I wish my car was solid Red... I took the car to Napa to have them shoot the paint with their camera so I could order touchup paint. It came up as UFN Number 1704923 Ford Radiant Red and was a very good match. I'm not Sure which type of Rosso Corsa paint Tony(ERA's preferred painter at the time) used when he painted the car. Mike
