I promise there was no alcohol involved in the bidding....at least that's what I told my wife!! I skipped over CSX6160 at $105k Friday, which seemed like a good price, thinking that I would wait until later in the evening and pick up the race-dressed CSX6162 for a little more. Wrong!! I stopped at $145k and it hammered at $147k plus buyer premium. I have to say the car looked much nicer that the stock dressed cars but there was much more to the car that I still think made it worth the money.
I waited patiently until Saturday and picked up CSX6170 at a great price with 13 miles on it. It's been sitting in the Scottsdale JetPort for well over a year as a Barrett Jackson & Planet Conra promo car. I'm back in the club after selling my Hurricane Cobra last fall.
