Their website now says Ultimate Classic Cars and that the site is under construction. Their website was just recently redone.

I think so. Brian put this on facebook:

To All Lone Star Classics Customers

Lone Star Classics has always been committed to providing a superior and high quality experience in the component car market. As a valued customer, we have always taken into consideration your best interest when making decisions regarding the future of our company. With that in mind, we are proud to announce the formation of a new company that will carry on the Lone Star Classics tradition of excellence!
The new owner (a prior LSC customer!) has committed to providing the same quality product and customer support. In addition to this ongoing commitment the new company will have an eye on the future by offering even more enhanced services, improved processes and more importantly a product line expansion.

The operations will be housed in the existing LSC facility up until a more suitable location is procured. As Lone Star Classics reaches a sunset, its team members will transition to the new company in order to provide the same familiarity, reliability and consistency you’ve come to appreciate.

The new owner has asked me to come on board and build a team of professionals. He wants to accomplish the goal of creating a stellar operation and expanded product line. Building upon the base of original team members the additional team will be phased in over a short period of time in order to reach the ultimate goal of creating a bigger and better company. In addition to an expanded workforce the business plan calls for more advanced, state of the art manufacturing equipment. This will jump start the evolutionary process of starting from scratch and developing a new look and style for the operations.

I want to sincerely thank you for your patronage and loyalty as I have dedicated my entire working career to my Lone Star clients and this industry. The long held conviction in assisting my clients in realizing their dreams has truly been a rewarding experience. I am excited to continue offering stellar customer service by beginning anew with Ultimate Classic Cars. My hope is that all past, current and future clients will benefit tremendously from this new and exciting company!
Sincerely,
Brian Alexander

Does anyone have any more information on the company. I called today but just got answering machines. I would like to know about improvements to the 427 car and I would like to see a picture of their new IRS.

I do know from talking with Brian that they are very busy right now, they are trying to finish up their new 427GT car for San Marcos and hire some new people. I have seen the car and it is about done, it is looking good.

That thread is not Lone Star's work. That's Rick's own blood sweat and tears on his second owner 2001 Lone Star. But it is basically the same IRS they will be using on the new car.

They're just changing some legal ownership status. They're not tits up.
