Billboard tyre/tire repair

Hi guys

I have picked up a builders screw or nail in my B F Good - billboard tyre/tire.

It is in the middle of the tyre/tire and easily removed.

My local tyre/tire guy has said they cannot have a plug fitted or be repaired.

I have previously had a plug placed in one prior and then a patch placed inside.

Any thoughts have tyre/tire shops changed their approach to repairing these tyres/tires.
