Default 427 cobra question

Wondering what 427 cobra I saw. This cobra didn't have windshield wipers at all, not even the workings.. It didn't have a glove box. Could this have been an original racing cobra? It had an all aluminium body.

If you are absolutely sure it had an aluminum body that would narrow it down considerably - to probably an original, a Kirkham or a continuation Shelby. Glove boxes and windshield wipers come and go over the years - not much help.

Yes, kind of a brushed aluminium body. The fan on the engine was a direct drive fiberglass fan. Not something you would find on a modern 427.

That sounds suspicious - original 427 cars came with electric fans. The engine is set back so far from the radiator that an engine fan doesn't really do much of anything. Can't imagine Shelby putting an engine fan on a continuation car or anyone putting one on a Kirkham.
