I was with this group on our annual Cobra Tour, this time 1000 miles around the top of Lake Michigan through the upper peninsula. Known as the Yooper Tour, Tom Cotter, author of The Cobra in the Barn and many other automotive books, and I have organized these tours for the last 10 years. We had 14 original Cobras and a original owner GT350 (the owner has helped with the tours since the first year) on this years tour. It was great to have the originals being used as Carroll Shelby intended. We explored beautiful back roads, visited Road America where we had some spontaneous go-kart racing when the opportunity presented itself. We ended the tour at the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn and got the opportunity to look over and sit in a prototype GT350R. Awesome car!

These old Cobras held up very well with only a few minor issues that were quickly cured.
