Any update on the unfinished Competition Chassis Shelby 427 Cobras? Any built yet?
Has there been any updates on these Unused Competition CSX Cobra Vin# cars being built by the Shelby Trust? I would like to see photos and hear more about the cars if there is any new information out there?

Two more cars to be added to the Shelby World Replica Registry. |
A well known Shelby patronist on here has bought the entire production run, so he can safe guard the marque and actually regulate who gets to own them.

Nothing against the thread starter...absolutely valid question. Unfortunately I've lost my patience for stupidity and repetitious bullsh!t from the responders who have nothing of even the most minimal relevance to offer.
quattro-pipa...yup! |
I am reopening this thread for tkb289, who saw the completed one at Monterey and has some pics. I saw it as well but didn't have any pics. It was a pretty little thing, as was the Kirkham coupe, which literally knocked my socks off.
I'm asking nicely...nobody else do any posting here until tkb289 posts. I won't be nice if you ignore that. Thanks. |
thanks for that last shot...damn pretty thing it is!

CSX3065 truly looks awesome. Thanks for posting the pics. It's just a little out of my league. Make it 400K and it competes for my $ to a new Ford GT. That said, I'm sure every one of them will be sold.
Is this the Kirkham or Serb car? But, sorry, the Coupe needs to be painted. This naked lady stuff is NOT a 1965 era representation of anything CS did. Sure, maybe for 45 minutes when they came into his shop. But they just look unfinished. It's a beautiful car, but it needs to be Guardsman Blue. |
Agree it shouldn't be polished...that's just too much glitter.
Brushed...that's how it should be. Paint is for fibreglass...to hide it. Just my humble opinion of course. |
Very nice!! Did somebody count the rivets on the hood? ;-)
If I had the funds I would buy one - for $300.000 - 350.000. |

Thank you Jamo and tkb289. Thats what I was looking for and great photos tkb289. She looks really nice. If anyone runs across more information on the second car or photos please post them.
I actually prefer the polished body (Rather than Paint) on the Kirkham. Reminds me of a vintage airplane also does not hide that flawless Alloy body. Id love to have both of these cars in the stable! |

The polished aluminum makes it into a work of art. |
Quite impressive car(s) for sure!
They certainly seem to have managed to make the CSX period correct! |
Nice too see a car with a pure 427ci. Is it a NOS block?
