while on a trip to another town about 50 miles from my house I dropped by the Ford dealer.
He gave me 5 "drive away tags" and sent a guy to the back to bring me eight more dealer tags from other Ford dealer.

JACKPOT

when I got back to my shop I removed the nine tags I had on the wall. I hung all the tags over a door which is centered in my shop. Now everyone who comes into my shop can see my tag collection.

Several of the Cobra guys are mailing me tags.

Yep, going to look good!

Coach and I drove over to Huntsville to visit Joe, Lainhart and Geno this morning. After we stopped at the gun shop to buy a AR we stopped by the Ford dealer to look at the new GT350 Mustang. They had a orange one that was sold but we looked under the hood and inside.

Lainhart and I went to the back where they clean up the used cars and I asked if they had any dealer tags they would give me. They gave me eight Ford dealer tags and six other tags.

Great score
I have a few extra tags I can trade or give away. Let me know.

today Tim and I drove to Chattanooga, Tenn. to look at a 66 Fairlane. While we were there we stopped by Coker Tire and Tim bought a set of rims for his 56 Fairlane.
Pappy brought me three Ford dealer tags. Then we stopped by Mountain View Ford dealer and picked up a few of their tags.

The Fairlane that we came to look at was rough and over priced.

Still a good trip.

Tags are going to look great on my shop wall.

Bought my wife a new Ford Escape yesterday and while I was waiting on the paper work I walked across the street to their clean up shop. They gave me five Ford dealer tags I did not have and a few that I did have. Plus a couple of tag brackets.
I now have 33 different Ford dealer tags on my shop wall. Plus extras to trade. I mailed three to TX this morning.
I have one from Ca.
one from N.C.
two from Ga.
several from Tenn.
two from Ohio
I would like to have one from every state.
