I am old an wouldn't live long enuff to do a "kit". If I did get some time and ambition I would still only buy a finished roller.. Ok .. Goin for a drive. Have one question though. Should I worry about putting mileage on the car ??

Naw, drive it all the time. They will never be worth nearly as much as an original one from the 60s.

I've got over 8400 miles on the Shelby. Try to drive her every weekend. Agree they will never be worth what the originals are worth but will always bring more than a fake Cobra.

Our resident clown fails to understand that his continuation is a fake cobra, a kit car replica like all the rest as ruled by Judge Walsh in Court, and Carroll Shelby has identified his continuations as kit car replicas providing their CSX4000 designation to the court as part of that ruling.

To keep the illusion alive, our resident clown denigrates his fellow cobra enthusiasts telling them they own a fake compared to his REAL_1, the chaff instead of the wheat, they are the wannabes wishing they could own a continuation. It's all here in black & white.

Misconceptions

Our resident clown is what the OP was referring to in his opening post -
My point in sharing this conversation is to express the opinion that many of the misconceptions about Cobra replicas are being fed by the comments of replica owners (and sellers) who want the uninformed public to think that their particular replica is for some reason better than most of the others.

I'm thinking we give our resident clown a name. Other clowns of notoriety are 'Bozo the Clown', 'Krusty the Clown', 'Ronald McDonald', 'Weary Willie the Clown' and so on. How about for our clown 'Blow Hard the Clown'?

Did JAMO take the week off? Does this thread have some redeeming quality - it seems to have gone seriously off track from the original post.

I was wondering where he was. Especially since a new mushroom just sprouted on the site on this same subject!

I for one would like to just get back to identifying parts, seeing fixes and learning from this site. I see no one helped or learn anything here on this thread or the other one.

Still lost on the legal thing I see and still calling names to make your point. I see. Very effective. It does put you in your true light though.

Still haven't answered my question, however, I doubt you will since you can't or refuse to since name calling is more your style in making your point.

BTW the original post was referring to an owner of a Spf. Another effort at taking bits and pieces of what someone says to put it out of context to suit your effort. Nice.
