Too much time
Had a little time on my hands. Tired of the black.

Trying to disguise it as a Ferrari?
Nice work - what color is the car?

Looks good. Did you spray them or powder coat them?

Car is black. I blasted them then high temp primer and valspar red spray. Didn't powder coat in case I decide I don't like it.

What are your thoughts now they're on the car?

Like the valve covers but not the air filter cover - on it I would keep the red between the fins and paint the smooth outside thirds silver or black.

I agree I think the valve covers look good but the air cleaner strikes me as a little bit too much. Not sure removing the red from outside the fins would be an improvement however. It's probably going to be a split decision. Some will like and some won't.

Air filter cover should be Ford blue.

Good idea. The exact reason I didn't powder coat.

Thinking about keeping the red between fins and trying blue on rest. Thoughts?

If it's just paint - why not - maybe start by keeping the outside rim and edge red to see how that looks - this is the ideal time for some photo-shopping!

Ok. This is the last one for a while. I'm getting good with tape and a razor blade.
