Smile Weather

I could not find a forum to talk about the weather so I picked All Cobra Talk

here goes

It has been so warm in North Alabama that all the brushes and trees are budding out!

I'm sure we will get some cold weather and kill the buds.
Our worst weather comes between mid Jan and the end of March. Snow and or ice.

Of course we only get a little snow every five or six years.

Most of the time we can drive ours Cobras year round. But not like So. Ca. we need a hat and coat. Most of us have heater in our Cobras.

Did I mention, I hate Cold Weather! It's 34 degrees today and should hit 50 by midday.

It's been a very warm winter up here in Connecticut this year and only 15" of snow vs 100" last year. Temperatures have been in the 50's and 60's on occasion and very tempting to get the cars out of the bags and on the road. Only problem is with the magnesium sulfide the put on the roads for ice melt. It will eat a brake line in minutes and sticks to anything metal. The only remedy is washing and scrubbing and it's just not worth it for a days ride. Guess we'll wait until the roads are clear and a simple hosing will clean off road grime.

We have had a mild Winter so far here in Northern California. A lot of rain a month or so ago and then a lot of days in the upper 70s and low 80s. We are supposed to have light showers today and scattered through next week, but that is more guessing that knowing.

It has been great weather in northern Ohio. Very little snow and temps in the 40's on a regular basis.

If winter were like this every year, I would actually like living here!

We have some light showers forecast here for the rest of the week but it is like Spring. All of the flowers are blooming and the trees are all green and filling with leaves. Our temperatures have ranged from 82 degrees to 36 degrees at night, with most days being in the upper 60s and low to mid 70s.
