Default Wade Chamberlain R.I.P.

Absolute worst, most dismal news I've heard in years: Wade Chamberlain passed away day before yesterday.

Threads on the CACC web site here: Tribute to Wade

and here: Wade Chamberlain

Damn!

Really going to miss Wade. Being an old autocrosser, I remember when he first started killing cones...fun threads here about that. Going to miss ya buddy.

When you turn 77 losing friends comes natural but at 47 time was way to short for Wade. Met Wade in early years of the London Cobra show and he and his wife Beth and his children came for a visit to my home in Florida, RIP

So sad. He was an inspiration to me and so many others I'm sure.

Godspeed Wade.

I am not on the forums much anymore, but I found about Wade's passing yesterday.

I remember meeting Wade in the early days of Club Cobra. We managed to end up on a number of cruises...then track events....and a few parties along the way too.

He always had a smile, a fun poke at you and was always ready to drive.

Over the past couple of years, I have not done much car wise, but I did become friends with Wade on FaceBook and in many ways, I was living vicariously through Wade....

Even though he was married and had young children, he still kept the flame alive and had that spark in his eyes.

I wish more of us were like Wade...he will be missed by all those whose paths he crossed.

God Speed to you, my friend....
RACERAL and mrmustang like this.
