Default Windshield

Can anyone help me with replacement info for a windshield for a CMC/Street Beast?

If you still have the old one, the easiest thing to do it get a piece of M10 Lexan and do an outline of the existing glass. The bend in the windshield will not hurt the M10.

If you go on Ebay, there is somebody on there selling a lot of lexan windshields. They may fit.

If you have a good custom glass company near by you can take the old one there and they should be able to make a new one out of glass or Lexan. I have had several things made using Lexan and have been happy with them.

Here is the Ebay ad. He doesn't say how thick, but I would go 1/4". I think if you go 3/8" thickness, you might have problems installing it in your frame.

I have Lexan windwings and have literally beat them with a hammer. They are regular Lexan, not M10. They are not scratch resistant, but they are pretty hard to scratch. You can get Lexan in various shades also. I am not sure if you can with M10, but if so, you might want to put a little tint in the color.

Thanks for the info. I've looked at some poly windshields on line and wondered how they would stand up.
