CSX 2000 To B Auctioned

Wonder if this is the same yellow Cobra I saw at a Santa Barbara race track in about 1966. I wanted it but didn't have the $6k or a driver's license. We called it bird sh#t yellow. FWIW, I saw it in the Vegas museum awhile back.

Most likely not. As far as I know, CSX2000 was NEVER offered for sale.

If you bought this $6k Cobra in 1966 and sold it for $12.5MM in 2016 you had a 16.5% ROR. That doesn't count the cost spent for insurance and taxes (Fed and licensing). It also doesn't figure in the smile on your face for 50 years because you know you have the coolest car in the USA. Too bad we didn't know that in 1966.....
