I was there that day.... Beautiful wedding. Jeff and Carrie rolled down the path in Goldie. Very romantic from a car guys point of view! Jeff worked real hard to get the car ready for the big day! Sure he will pipe in here!

Thanks but I will stick with what has worked, good and bad. I've got plenty of friends that have been trying it 3 or even 4 times. Don't see an upside there other than pure misery and pain. "For Better or Worse" is actually a pretty serious deal, at least to me.

Wow.... tough crowd for the marital institution! It took 25 years of misery to finally get it right the second time around. I am a very lucky and happy guy. We don't even argue about the cars, I say lets take the GT40, she says Cobra... I say works for me!

Am I the only one to kiss a woman in a Cobra?
Guess I am charmed......

It can be work at times but certainly worth the effort 47 yrs. for us. She still loves the Cobra.

This is a very nice picture and she doesn't even look 20 years old.

30 years here, I figure @ 30 years you are fully vested like Bernica says. What that means is you have mastered the "golden rule" to make it work.

When you want something you know the wife is against --> just get it.
Golden Rule: Don't ask for permission first, beg for forgiveness later.

Women "get" compulsive buys, they do it all the time

25 years together here, been together since senior year in highschool. My wife agreed to the cobra because she will now be getting the vette. Once the car gets here we will be doing Friday Family Cruise nights. We are coming up with different destinatiins now and also some car shows. My 6 year old son will have to decide which car he wants to go in each Friday, poor him, lol. If i can get my wife into cars then it makes the next purchase that much easier. Sneaky but smart!
