Advertise at CC .... Cobra Make, Engine: Original 427 S/C #CSX3047 ... I remember one that turned up in Autoweek around 1971 or 2 for $25K.

You are not led to that letter. I have read before it was advertised in 1971 so that's the probable year. Anybody else remember this ad? I think 25K sounds awfully high. I also read a forum letter on one forum or another that Carter Gette was selling it for a couple that probably bought the car from him, odd that it wasn't a dealership ad... |
