Project wheel restoration

I picked up this set of old wheels from a good friend
After kicking them around the shop floor for many months I decided to spend a little time on them, well more than a little time

Finished cleaning up the fronts, I would still like to spin them in the lathe one more time.

Now I'm trying to decide on the finish I want on the centers, and I guess keeping a nice finish on the outer edges is go to be an on going endeavor

At this stage I'm leaning towards black or gray centers
