Just got an Arntz in a trade. Value? Market?
I recently got an Arntz in a trade for an older Corvette I was selling. The Arntz is in pretty good unrestored shape with a 454 hotrodded Chevy engine in it. I puts out about 350 horsepower to the rear wheels. The car is currently in the shop getting the clutch master cylinder replaced, so I have not had a chance to drive it much at all.
I am still trying to figure out if I should keep it or sell it. If I sell it, how much
are these things worth? And what is the market on these? Are they hard to sell?
Any advice would be appreciated

I'll speculate on almost no information about the car. If it's near mint condition, roughly $35,000 at the high end.
What kind of old Corvette was traded? And did the other party say "no backsies"?

Thanks. I realize the absurdity of asking what a car is worth, but that helps.
Any thoughts on the best place to sell a car like this?

As far as I can tell, Arntz's trade very infrequently and they're not exactly high on the Cobra replica "food chain." Some pics and a description will help. Also, the market for Cobra replicas gets smaller, when they don't have s SBF or BBF engines.
Cobracountry.com and here is where I'd advertise it.

Also, the problem with $35,000 at the very high end is that you'll be competing against some nice Factory Five replicas, and since they still make those in large numbers, I'd suspect that the Arntz will take a longer time to sell.

Not sure I would list it as a '1965 Shelby Cobra' but whatever works.

I don't know over there in CA, but here in Texas your top on that vehicle would be $23k.

For the OP, MrMustang is a better prognosticator of Cobra values than me.

If you enjoy the ride and don't need the $23k, I would add a set of knock-off wheels and drive it!

I remember that Hot Rod magazine with the blue Cobra on the front page...

I got the car back from the shop last night. They installed new clutch master cylinder and the 2 u joints on the steering shaft. Now the car runs really good.
The only glaring problem left is the windshield. It has a crack. Where can I get replacement? I think I read that the Arntz had the same size windshield as the original Cobras.

Probably the easiest thing to do is make a pattern of the windshield. Take it ti a shop that carried MR10 lexan and have them cut a piece to match the pattern. Replace the glass with the lexan.
There are quite a few threads on here about it.
