The six pin assy (9.6 lb) plus replica wheel (20+) is heavy.
IIRC - stock front with six pin replicas - un-sprung was 102lb . We are trying to hit front corner un-sprung of 82lb.
I could not find a source for magnesium replica and I gave up sourcing magnesium Minilites.
Bob has a light weight Wilwood hub (4.6 lb) which will allow you to use bolt on wheels. Watanabe Type R can be purchased in 15" magnesium . A set of Type R and Wilwood hubs would be good for close to 12 lbs. It takes some months to get the Type R. I ordered a set in September and have not seen them.
IMO - unless you are tracking it, chasing the wheels is a waste. Any benefit will not be realized on the street. If you are going to track it - get the lightest stuff under it you can. We plan to run the Type R on the track - Minis on the street.
We machined a set of the Wilwood hubs and fit them with Minilites to the stock spindles. We have since remodeled with C6 hubs - the Wilwoods are ready to go - ERA can supply the rears - pm if interested.
