Default New daily driver!

2017 Mustang GT, Perf. Pack with a Roush supercharger. 670hp with a manual trans and a 3.73 gear
Its a hell of a lot of fun for a commuter car!

That is a really nice Mustang. Now you can get to work on time.

Wow - that's a heck of a commuter car. With that much HP you should be able to toy with those Hellcats on the expressway.

Thanks guys for the kind words, It is a lot of fun to drive!
It is startlingly fast. I haven't had the opportunity to meet up with a Hellcat yet.
I'm looking to do the Phase 2 upgrade soon. That's good for 727hp!

Great engineering, nice styling, amazing performance, but except for maybe some decals and plastic, at first and maybe second glance, how does John Q tell a $22K car from an $80K+?

Can't swing a dead cat, without hitting a Mustang.

Congrats! Great color and spec...although you might find yourself swapping the for a 3:55 or even 3:31 with that supercharger.

I bought one late last year but opted for the more luxurious route with the premium package and 6-spd auto. Great chassis and drivetrain! Build quality isn't quite up to the Mercedes AMG I came out of but it's a fantastic car nontheless...especially for the $30k-ish price tag. Enjoy!

KARL,
"JAFCR"?
I don't typically buy cars so that John-Q is impressed, I buy what excites me and this car does, 140 miles a day.

Jeff,
I actually intended to buy a GT350 and commute in it. Then I drove it....I was so disappointed. It may be a very capable road course car, but it is complete crap as a street car.
Terrible seats (Recaro's), Terrible clutch, Over the top touchy breaks, No power (in the street usable rpm band) and it was $67k used with 7500 miles!

vntgspd,
Thank you brother! I totally agree with all that you said.
Yea, It could use a little taller gear.

One word of caution.....the ass end on those cars are notoriously light and don't stick to the road.

studebaker53,

This is the 6th Mustang I bought since 1987, so I am fairly familiar with them.
1984 SVO
1993 5.0/5 SPD COUPE (new)
1996 Cobra/ Intercooled Vortech, Tremec TKO, Full Griggs world challenge suspension (new)
2000 GT Automatic, (new for the ex wife!)
1997 GT convertible (son)
2017 GT
I keep swinging dead cats....
But I do appreciate your concern

D-cel

D-Cel, I don't envy your commute. Sounds like you certainly made the right decision over the 350 and that you'll enjoy your windshield time. The unique color you chose will make it much easier to spot in the crowd. You may want to think about buying an extended warranty, if you already haven't. You'll blow through the factory one pretty quickly. Keep the dirty side down.

Did they extend the powertrain as well with the (dealer added) supercharger?
I heard the 3/36 remains but not sure about the extended.
