Default Site problems ??

CC is loading slower than usual for me, anybody else ?

It also didn't recognize my password and told me I had used up my 15 tries to log in after 1 attempt.

Also, my browser/security function tells me this site is "unsecure ".

No problems with other web sites.

I have the exact same thing except mine says I have used my 5 attempts to log on and I have to wait for 15 minutes. And it takes so long to open anything I start it and then go to other sites and do stuff before this one finally opens a thread or anything.

I have been getting lots of errors regarding memory overflow and script problems running from F drive. I forwarded them, but it appears that the site is on autopilot.

Takes a few minutes for any thread to load up and trying to message or post takes multiple tries and usually times out. Started 3 days ago for me.

Very slow here too. Took two minutes just to get the text box from when I hit the reply button.

I'd say page loading is glacial - much slower then it had been.

I just ran a test that loads a fresh view of www.clubcobra.com 3 times. Site location of the test facility is From: Dulles, VA. https://www.webpagetest.org/easy.php

Results:
  • Average time for the page to load 100% was 38.0 seconds. (38.0s, 37.5s, 38.5s)
  • 'First View' times were listed as 35.504s, 34.165s, and 36.117s
  • 'First Byte' time rates an 'F'
  • 'Keep-alive Enabled' and 'Compress Images' were both rated 'A'
  • 'Compress Transfer' and 'Cache static content' were both rated 'B'
  • CC is making 'Effective use of CDN' (Content Delivery Network)

The results can be seen at WebPagetest Test Result - Dulles : www.clubcobra.com - 09/22/17 20:50:28 - including the ability to get more detailed information (e.g. Details, Performance Review, etc.)

The problem is clearly in the time it's taking the server(s) to respond to requests. Once the data starts flowing it's reasonably good. The big question is "what's the root cause of the time it's taking for the server(s) to respond?" Find and fix the root cause and the response time problem probably goes away.

Perhaps we should consider a Fund Raiser. We need to upgrade to https and fix the speed and scripting errors.

I'm not getting the scripting error message any longer.

FWIW, if there was a higher ratio of paid members to free members a fund raiser wouldn't be necessary.

Gallery comes up very quickly, "For Sale" takes around ten seconds, but anything else takes more than 30 secs (including "Submit Reply")
Could be the reason why there are so few members online?

Thumbs up

Congratulations guys! I got in on the first attempt this morning! For the past couple days I have not been able to get in through the normal routes, keeping getting an error message and this morning I was in, and there was no line of garbage at the top either. still a little slow loading, but way better than it was.

Thanks.

Brent,

I am not sure if this is related but this super slow down and time outs started for me the day that error message across the top disappeared. Now it take me from 45 seconds to a minute and a half to open a thread or reply. Just to get this to open so I can type thoihs was 52 seconds.

It took about a minute for the reply box to open, but this morning is the first time I didn't get a "fatal error" message and it actually opened, so progress must be being made. Thanks.

Painfully slow. Much slower than any other site/forum that I visit. Seriously, do we need a fundraiser for an upgrade or something?
