Newbie
Greetings to all - new member here - Paul Roza from Waxhaw, NC.
I finally got the car of my dreams (and many others it seems) this year. It is a Superformance Mark III - yellow with black stripes. 460 crate motor stroked to 518 CI. Built in 2012. Third owner - car had 1800 miles when I got it. Birthday present from the best ever wife in the world.
Looking forward to hanging out and learning as much as I can about this beast.
Safe travels.

Congrats! That is one hell of a wife! Be careful with it and never trust it; it will beg for gas and then bite back when it gets too much. That is a lot of motor in a very light, short wheel based car. Enjoy.
Jim

Enjoy the journey on learning to drive it and how to maintain it... doing both triples the satisfaction of ownership.

Wow that is some gift. Congratulations and as said earlier, take it easy until you get the feel for the Cobra as it won't be anything like what you have driven before. Post some pictures if you don't mind.

Look at the date codes on the tires....more than 5 or 6 years old and you will want to change them. Ignore that they "have full tread", that is not the issue. Ask Paul Walker.......
Third owner and 1800 miles? We see this often and the usual causes are:
1) Owner scared himself and therefor didn't drive it
2) Car was never properly built out and doesn't work right (overheats, won't shift, etc.)
3) Owner was a bench racer and just liked looking at/owning the car. Driving was not a priority
If you need any help, tech info or parts we will be glad to help.

^^^
We all need to understand how old our tires are.
I just retired a set of Kuhmos with 1K miles, they weren't going to snake bite ME

I have over 24,000 miles on my Superformance and no matter how many times I drive it, it still brings a massive smile to my face! Hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine. And as others have already mentioned, be cautious until you are more aware of the car's capabilities.

That is one very nice car. One of our members had one that was just about identical to it and he even had the same engine that you have but he had many more miles on his. congratulations.

I think the obvious reason why it has 1800 miles is because its yellow
