Error message when trying to upload picture -what does it mean?

Any ideas what this means or what causes the message when I try to upload to my gallery?

"Error creating thumbnail! Error code: 1

I get the same thing. I tried making my picture very small and it still gave me that error code. So it isn't anything wrong with you. Maybe an option that Brent needs to check after changing over to the new stuff.

The site is back and running faster for me than it did before but I still got that error when I tried to upload a test picture. Maybe we should use a photo hosting site and then link them from that. There are a lot of good ones that have free sections.
