Default Orignial

Hi there everyone,

I have come across the information that there are three Ac Cobras with the same chassinumber: csx2399

Does anyone know if the real one has been recognized and if so, how did the procedure go through? I am new to this forum, so if the question already have been brought up i apologize.

Best Regards

3. When started fake cars hit the market?

I am new to this forum, i hope someone can answer these questions.

1: Yes, SAAC knows the car
2: The car was never lost, contact Nedsel the SAAC Cobra registrar, you will need to provide information that will identify the car as real or a clone. Ned will not give you that information as it is what keeps the real cars vs the clones from being passed off successfully, but will tell you if the car you are looking at is indeed the real deal or not.

A big thank you for the answers mrmustang and DanEC.
The reason why i question this is because i will go and take a look at one of these csx2399 and wants to be sure if its a original or clone.

Where in the car can i find this information, and what should i look after?

Is there no more person than Ned that can confirm if its a clone or original?

Thanks again

Ned is THE only person who you should be sending the details too in this cars case. Also read the earlier thread, reread enough times and you'll get the idea...;.

In the engine compartment there is a stamped VIN (vehicle identification) tag which will have a series of number/letters stamped in it. Those numbers, in their exact location, and as stamped, should be sent to Nedsel. Better yet, a well lit series of pictures of that tag and it's location should be sent to Ned, as there are some pretty good clones out there, and you don't want to get stuck paying "real" money for a "clone"

While I do not know where you are located geographically, I would recommend that if you are not well-versed in Cobra knowledge, you should attempt to bring along someone who is, as you would likely not be able to determine a good clone from an original on your own. Failing that, take a lot of photos and share them with someone who knows their stuff. And if the seller is reluctant to allow you to shoot the pictures, that should suggest something is amiss.
