Default Shelby Part's sign information needed

I found this at an Antique Show . It supposedly came from a speed shop in Worcester MA. I do know there was a Shelby Dealer there at one point. Otherwise I haven't been able to find anything else out about it. Just wondering if anyone has seen one before?

Harr Ford was in Worcester MA. Not sure of the authenticity of the sign though.

I initially assumed it was fake, but the guy didn't have any other car related items, He said he had found it at defunct speed shop in Worcester, the only thing else he said they had were some NOS Shelby gas caps. His story seemed legit. It's definitely older, it's yellowed in some areas where it had been in the Sunlight.

Gus Ziedema had a shop there for years doing Cobras and hi performance cars. I don't remember seeing anything hanging on his wall. Trying to remember a speed shop down there.

Don't think it was from the 60/70s BUT the old brain isn't what it use to be.

Recent. Made and sold a few years ago. I don't think Shelby ever had a sign like it in the day.

I just punch in Shelby signs on ebay and the first one on the list was the OP sign. $41.00 delivered.

I thought there were real ones that looked like that. If I recall I thought it had something to do with the grommets at the top? The way you could tell original vs repo. I could be mistaken however- A good person to ask would be Vern on the SAAC forum site-

I've got a repop of this sign and I can tell you (for what it's worth) that the font in the Cobra badge is different.
