Default Christmas 2017 and what's under the tree...

Thanks to my friends at Cobra Automotive I need to use the barn versus tree for my wife's gift.
Special thanks to my dear friend Dennis for making this happen.
Whatcha get, ask for or better yet whatcha give

Hi Jeff, I had (rbmoore) Rob, post the latest pictures (Still in the body shop) in my introduction post. I not very computer savvy, when it comes to posting pics. Oh, and I did get a NOS Shelby book for my Tiger friend, hope he doesn't read this Tom.

Moto-lita 15" split spoke wood steering wheel. Unfortunately it may be more of a Valentines gift due to the lead time...

I dropped my Cobra off last month at Panavia here in Campbell and had my Cobra fully serviced front-to-back (oil, trans, diff, clutch, brake, etc.), new Avons installed and new Hella H4 high wattage headlights installed as well.

Rodknock,
There's a rumor going around that your original tires still had the vent spews on them.

I hear that if you think about baseball that it can decrease premature spewing :roll eyes:

Enjoy the new setup!

I just ordered a new ERA 427 a month ago, so it will be a while before it shows up. My plan is to build the engine, differential, etc while waiting, so FE speed parts from Brent Lykins keep showing up. My wife can't understand why I get excited about receiving gaskets, roller lifters, etc...

Ok, Christmas morning for us
This is what I surprised momma with.
She was totally surprised and shed a tear!

Perfect!
Also picked up 14" painted wheels and 16" stearing wheel for it.

Very, very nice. I am glad my wife doesn't frequent this site. She might get ideas.

I love early Fastbacks. My first car was a '65 Fastback and I've owned a few over the years. I would love to own another one someday, but I already don't drive the Cobra enough.

Very nice. Enjoy in good health.

Purchased a fender cover, not just your average one, but one that covers the entire front end and both fenders. The fit is excellent on the Cobra, they also make covers for many other cars.

Got a 7 " K&N air cleaner, fabricated oil cooler shroud for our "cooler" Ohio weather. And wife kicked in a new car cover.

Nice looking fastback, Jeff, but I thought you were building a Cobra for her? Had a bud in college that bought a new GT with the HiPo 289 that he used to autox. What a sweet motor. What's the drivetrain in this one? Wishing you a happy new year.
