Home+Link garage door opener buttons mounted under dash. It worker so good that I even installed them in my Monster Miata and my riding mower. $5.00 each. I extracted them from Lincoln Towncar sunvisors from the junkyard.

Oooh! This is cool. Is it a compact self contained unit that only needs a 12v source once removed from the visor?

Yes. just add 12v. & program it. Depending how new your garage door openers are, you may need a repeater kit https://www.amazon.com/LiftMaster-85.../dp/B01GWD4LUI to get them to work. You only need ONE repeater kit for the entire house. The Home+Link unit, itself, is self contained and is about the size of a pack of cigarettes. It can be programed to open three different garage door openers no matter what make they are. I mounted mine to the backside of the center of the dash under the speedometer.
