Default New Cobra Owner

Hello All, thought I would take a few mins to introduce myself. I am from Ontario Canada and I just recently picked up my first Cobra. It needs some work so its a good thing its the middle of winter here.

the Frame and body were built by Cobras International out of midland Ontario (no longer in Business) and is powered by a race built Ford 302.

Parts already on order are: a set of wind wings, sun visors, new shifter and knob, steering wheel, Halibrock Replica wheels and Fluidyne Rad. If anyone has any install advice on this rad I would love to hear it also what type of fan was used with it and how that was mounted.

Looking forward to reading through some of the threads.

Cheers!

Looks like a good base, take you time and make it look good.

I started just under three years ago with allot less than you have, as my project took shape I realized how good their cars can look. I would also recommend looking at lots of pictures and pick a style for your end result, this will really help you to stay on track because these cars can have a million different styles.

I think I remember those guys in Midland, I may be wrong. I spent 23 years in Toronto and considered building a Cobra in 2000, I think at the time the base kit was 10K with a 5k electrical and chrome package.

Congratulations on getting your Cobra and as Pormgb said, you have a good base so the rest shouldn't be to difficult. Just don't get in a rush and take your time.

Thanks for the kind words. I have a picture of the look I'm going for pinned up right by the car. I will be sure to keep everyone posted on my progress.
