Default Cobra Dimensions

Hey there, folks. I was wondering if I could get some guidance on a little personal project of mine. I am looking to model a Cobra in 3D, and I'd like it to be as technically detailed and accurate as possible. I just think it would be fun to have some exploded and cutaway renders.

I want to note that beyond general maintenance, I am not a car guru by any means. I'm just an admirer of one of the greatest classic cars ever made.

The basics were easy enough to find, but I'm looking for specifics down to the nuts and bolts.
Now the big question is original, or kit? Since the original is no longer produced, would it be possible to get ahold of original blueprints? If not, then a kit might be the way to go, since they're more accessable to the diy community.

If I do go kit, is there a specific chassis I should go with? Are there available dimensions? And what about suspension?

As for the engine, I'd like to stick with a 427. I'm having trouble finding dimensions beyond bore and stroke. Are there any technical schematics out there? If not, are there any other applicable engines where schematics might be easier to obtain? Same questions for the transmission.

At the end if the day, I could probably whip up some sweet renders in a few hours by just eyeballing it, but the fun for me is in the details.

Thanks for any help. And if anyone is interested, I'd be glad to share my progress here.
