I had a bit of a struggle getting the pipes back together in the four pipe joint inside the front fender. I was considering surrender and taking it to my mechanic but decided to adjust the supports of the side pipe a bit and suddenly the pipes sort of jumped at each other and connected!  I just tapped them in. I had to bend the rewelded tab a bit to pass the other one and the third one I had to drill a bit to get the bolt in.
