Question Pictures of Cobras with black rims, pipes etc

I am seeking pictures of Cobras with black pipes, black rims.. etc.

My car is silver and need a visual to consider changing up a few things.

How far does one go?

Headlamp rims etc...?

Thanks in advance!!

Hello blown871 - here's a pic of your car from your profile album showing what it would look like with most of the shiny stuff blacked out. The pic is low res and the lighting is not great, but you can get a basic idea.

I'd leave a few non painted/coated items myself, they will accentuate the black portions better. I own a black car with black side pipes and wheels, the trim rings front and rear are unpainted as well as the quick jacks, windshield frame/mirrors. Leaving some unpainted parts is a very classy look in my opinion.

Here's a better pic of a similar car to yours from the net. It already had black pipes and I blacked out the roll bar, rims, fans, etc. Not an SPF, but you get the basic idea.

Thanks everyone for the pictures and efforts. I am have the pipes done in black now and need to reinstall. And.. like anything.. where does on draw the line? Having everything blacked out.. or not.. ......

I like the roll bar blacked out from the pix.. but geeez it seem odd not to do windshield But that would be a project...

The windshield frame looks great in black, but it is hard to do a thorough job without glass removal. Wait until you need a new windshield for that project.

Yeah, don't forget the black helmet and clothes. :-)

Does the blacking out extend to the engine's shiny bits?

I am not much of a fan of the non-original looking engines in these cars.... But that sure is pretty looking..... Blas

I hear ya on that Blas and tend to agree. But this heart and lung are purpose built to the tune of 700+ rwhp so I let it slide this time.
