There has been a pedestrian death recently, where a distracted driver was not overseeing the self driving vehicle.

Who gets blamed here, the vehicle manufacturer, (should be), the "driver" (should be)?

There's no way I'll EVER ride in a self driving car.

I've seen way too many problems with cars in my 38 years working.
