Default What class?

When I go to a car show with my '65 Backdraft that was built in 2004, what year will I use to specify what class I enter, '65 or 2004? Anyone run into this issue before? I don't want to get disqualified because I entered the wrong class.

65. It doesn't look like a Ford Taurus.

Out here we have to register any home built car as Special Construction as they won't allow them in the year, stock, or modified classes. Which is usually better as there normally aren't a lot of cars in that class.

I register mine as a 1965 Cobra recreation. My registration in The Socialistic State of California is a 1965 Ford Cobra.

Mine is titled as a 1965 Ford Convertible (don't ask what I went through to get it titled as such!) so I could get it licensed as a Classic Car here in PA.
The main reason I enter it in the Special Interest class is it's a replica of a race car (no bumpers, etc.), that, and it's pretty hard to compete against the trailer queen Muscle Cars because I just love to drive it (2000 miles so far this summer) and there's a few stone chips and light scratches from cleaning it.
Isn't driving these great cars why we have them?

Me too RB60 ... I drive mine everywhere (except Wal-Mart). With so many different classes offered in the various shows, I'll just have to wait and see which one to enter. Thanks guys for all the input.
