Default Jaguar XKE Rear & MGB Front Brake Line Question

Revised Post

I'm getting ready to plumb my Arntz with brake lines -- it has an XKE rear end and a MGB front end.

What I need to know is do the Girling cylinders use bubble flare lines where the lines connect?

Moss has the MGB brake lines with the female fittings I need to hook up the front brakes using a "T" from
the front brake Girling cylinder.

The also have the rubber lines that connect to the XKE rear end, and hopefully have the hard lines with the female
fittings that connect to the rubber lines. I'll need to use another "T" from the rear brake Girling cylinder.

The Wilwood pedal has a bias adjustment between the 2 cylinders.

Thanks,

Jim

Thanks.

I have a tool to make a double flare, but not a bubble flare.

On the Girling master cylinders, a double flare fitting will screw in,
but I can't tell if it's correct.

You can buy pre-made bubble flare lines. You can cut off one end and add a double flare on one end if your application requires it.

I have to check, but I do not think you have to use a bubble flare if you have the room. I have brass adapters that screw into the caliper that allows you to use a double flare. Let me dig today and see if I can find the adapter for a picture.
