Default Mid-Engine Ford Mustang Makeover Takes Cues From 2020 Corvette

SketchMonkey takes a Mustang and develops a rendering of a mid-engine version. Bearing some resemblance to an Audi R8, it's a pretty good looking car, IMO.

EDIT: https://www.motor1.com/news/364175/m...gine-makeover/

Would you have a mid-engine Mustang like this, or do you prefer your pony cars with the engine in the front? Yeah, it would only seat two but, let's face it, the Mustang rear seat is a joke anyway unless the driver is well under 6 feet. I'm 6'2" with a 34" inseam and shoving the seat back in current Mustangs leaves little to no space for feet.

Discuss.

It looks fine. But styling wise it looks like they took a stock mustang front engine car and just snipped and stitched back together here and there. I bet this is not an actual car is it? photoshopped?

Strictly a rendering at this point. My mistake, I thought I'd included a link to the story. I've edited my post and added it now.

Intriguing concept so I quickly rendered this up, even though there's less than a snowflake's chance in hell given the existence of the GT. Seems the other guy didn't bother to lower the hood and front profile, which is one of the big advantages of not having a big lump of an engine up front.
Fun project so I might fool around with it a bit more.

EDIT - refined the graphic a bit.

Default Can't afford it

Hi,
I have had 6 mustangs over the years. This latest version is going to be too expensive for the average guy. So no more mustangs for me. Also now that I'm older it's too hard to get in and out of the thing, that's why I haven't got a corvette.
