Default Looking for an Era or a Contemporary

Hello everyone

My name is Eric. I'm french and I'm a classic car restorer, specialised in English and American cars. I love Cobra's too and owned some, mainly 289's.
I sold my last slabside two months ago and...I miss her. I need a Cobra again in my garage but this time, a 427 !

My "favorite" manufacturer is ERA but a good Contemporary Classic can fit the deal. So if you think it's time for your Cobra to find a new (good) home...please contact me ?

I often buy cars in USA for customers so distance isn't a problem for me. I know all the export and overseas transport process .

The main problem for a Cobra here in France is to deal with the French registration office and unfortunatly I can only be interested by cars with a proven history and first registred BEFORE 1990 ( or 90 at least ). Other than, Cobra replicas can't be registred in France...

Colours isn't a problem ( I love them all ! )
Engine isn't a problem ( but it must be a V8 Ford only )
Gearbox can be 4 or 5 but no automatic
And....I want knock off wheels....

So if you think you got the right thing, I can be the right man !

Last but not least, my budget is a little bit tight and can affort only cars until $62000 maxi

Thank you so much for your time and I hope someone somewhere own my next baby !

Eric, welcome to Club Cobra. I'm sure you're aware of it, but if not you should check out cobracountry.com. There is an ERA listed on there right now for $67,500. The listing doesn't specify when it was first registered, but the seller's contact info is listed. And it has knock-offs, of course.

Bob

If you need something built before 2000, look for a chassis number below 270, although it's best to confirm the original build date.

FYI: I have an Excalibur for sale for the family of a friend. Built in June of 1997 and meets the requirements for Canada import.
