The first post in this thread (not counting other older threads) was in February of 2020 more than two years ago. If you chose to buy without checking out the reseller and then come after the fact to cry about what happened to you, you are deserving of your predicament.

You should think of your predicament as a learning experience. Consider the price of the trinket you purchased as the tuition you paid. Who knows if you go to class often enough you might even graduate.

Coming to the CC site after the fact and complaining will not fix you problem, this guy doesn't give a $hit. Pro-actively searching the CC site for bad news about a particular reseller before purchasing makes a lot more sense than complaining after purchasing.

Shoot, ready, aim, complain never works as well as research, ready, aim, shoot.
Pay with a credit card. Know your card's dispute-a-transaction policy and if you don't get your goods (not a tracking number from him, but actual delivery at your doorstep) then dispute the transaction and get your money back. He is backcharged. If enough disputed transactions show up he will eventually lose the ability to use the card account. I suggest American Express if you have one as they are the toughest I've found (I've had an Amex card since 1977. They used to have celebrities flashing their "member since" age... They haven't approached me yet.)

Spot on Tony! You are absolutely right about using a credit card and AMEX inparticular. They play baseball on the card holder's team, unless you turn out to be a jerk — and then you usually don't have the card that long.

I've been waiting for them to ask me to flash my member since age for a while now but, as luck would have it, I'm not a celeb although I have been around for a while (1969).

One of the old-wives-tales about American Express was that Walter Cronkite had a "black" card - before there was such a thing, I think. He had cards for most of the "crew" that worked for and traveled with him and charged everthing on Amex. His monthly bill could approach $1M. And that was back in the 60s... They keep trying to get me to upgrade to a platinum card but I really don't get anything that I care about over the gold card (I also have one for my wife, and we charge almost everything to it.) I used it for business travel until the 90s - I also had a Diners - but started really using it in the mid 90s. I've racked up over 500K "points". Need to start using them since I don't think they survive me.

I remember hearing those 'reports'.
