I was told nobody has ever or nearly never broken the reverse rail and I have gone though 3 in 8000 miles . As far as I can tell I am the only one . FyI it is a lot of labor to fix . parts not so much maby 100$ total. So all this being said is the rail issue that is not a issue fixed or not .

The TKX box is different in many ways to the TKO series boxes.

I haven't heard of this myself. Is it from aggressive shifting into 5th? If so, you should look at the shifter as the cause, and have adjustable hard stops.

So, if I understand this correctly, you take a 3/8" rail, machine it for a detent, then machine another roll pin hole through it at basically the same location, so now it's 1/8" thick at the thinnest portion, and then are surprised when it breaks ?
