Bleeding Master Cylinder with Remote Resevoir

Hey everyone
I am installing a remote reservoir system in my car. No big deal pretty and straightforward. I have bench bled many a master cylinder in my day but never a remote one that does not have a reservoir on it. Can it be done outside of the car and maintain the Integrity of all of the system to prevent air from entering or am I better off installing the entire system in the car and bleeding it that way. I am leaning towards the latter. Anyone have any experience with it. Thanks
