Finish line I must be crazy

I listened to all their excuse the last time I ordered from them
And I was stupid enough to order from them again it’s been one month now that they have had my money . I have emailed them twice called them four times and no response…Don’t be stupid like me an order from them They are just using peoples money
(1) we are moving to a new facility
(2) covid put us a month behind
(3) I’m a one-man show

simply dispute the charges on your CC... good luck

Just cancel with your credit card company before it's too late. The limit is usually two billing cycles.

Read the previous thread about them and this problem. Believe what the others have said about the bad service. Forget about the reason — it doesn't matter. Decide if you want bad service. If the answer is yes, buy from them. If the answer is no, buy somewhere else.

I would suggest no one buy anything from Finish Line. I purchased a few items, since I had bought from them in the past and was in no hurry to get my items. Purchased them online and finally received them 7 weeks later. Part of the order was two 289 fender emblems. Instead, I received two Cobra badges. I immediately emailed a pic of the packing list and the incorrectly shipped Cobra badges. 9 weeks and several emails / phone messages later, no reply or resolution. I’ll chalk it up to bad decision making. As stated before, do not patronize them with your business.

By the way, if anyone needs a couple of Cobra badges......

Update

Well within 10 minutes after this posting finish line responded to one of my emails they said they were very sorry and would get my order out today they did send me a tracking number . At this point of course I’m wondering what they shipped me . i’ll keep everyone posted on how this turns out

twobjshelbys 07-13-2021 07:03 PM

Gee, imagine that.

jmimac351 07-19-2021 07:33 PM

It sounds like there's no competition for this stuff so they can get away with it.

I won’t buy from them ever again. “Taylor” has inconsistent communications skills and has no business trying to run an online mail-order enterprise. I’ve yet to be financially burned but I shouldn’t have to follow-up countless times to get a status or have an order filled. This operation is clearly under-capitalized and poorly managed…a far cry from when Enzo (and even his daughter, bless her heart) was at the helm.

During my Cheetah build I had problems with two vendors who once had excellent reputations. One seemed be in a failing business and was using money from new customers to stay afloat while hoping things would get better. The hint of legal action got some results, but far from what was promised. .. The other business had been quietly sold by the reputable owner to someone apparently incapable of running it. A threat to revoke the charge finally got action but the product was substandard.

I learned that I can't go by past reputation alone. Things change and good businesses sometimes go bad. When that happens, they seldom tell prospective customers.

I agree, I've dealt with Taylor 4-5 years ago, got my pieces in a timely fashion. THEN 2years ago, I was ready for my glass wing windows and hardware, never hear a peek, from him, no Email's, no Call backs. I was done with Finishline right there and then. Now if can get Brent (EM-0785) to retire, we can start up our own Finishline type store, Cobra people helping Cobra owner's, the way it should be ;), Cheers TommyRot, I'm back from having no internet (I still live in the Bermuda Triangle) but I'm back up & running, It's nice to be back, Karlos said he didn't miss me :)

Tom,

It's good to see you back, you were missed. As was said of Fangio in A Life of Speed, "the man is bigger than the myth"! Welcome back.

I ordered from CSXparts (Cobra Performance) , but same thing, no contact, several emails. I just disputed my charge. Lesson learned.

Finish Line

From everything I'm reading about Finish Line, I guess I just made a big mistake ordering up a few items (about 2k worth!)

Anyone know who the owner of this place is, I better give them or him/her a call to make sure my order gets fullfilled.

eschaider 08-06-2021 12:38 AM

You know that you are acting delusional, right?

Get a hold of your credit cars issuer immediately and try to unwind the deal before it is too late.

Are you talking about the store in Pittsburgh Ca. Where the cobra museum is? If so it has been a couple of years I will admit but I purchased a wood steering wheel for a great price and was very happy hope this is not the same store.

Igofastr 08-06-2021 01:44 PM

No, not the same entity at all.

The cobra museum and store is in Martinez. Finishline is in Oakley.
