Default bellhousing dial indicator

New bellhousing and new TKX. Want to dial in for warranty without spending to much more. Finally blew up T5 for second time.

What motor and bellhousing? I’m gonna be putting a Tkx in my car in the next few weeks. Looking foreword to it. Heard lots of good things about the Tkx.

If you are asking where to buy one, look at Harbor Freight.

347 from a 302 and a new ford cast aluminum. Do not need steel bellhousing SSI rating. My thoughts are the type that can be bolted in place with bracket. I suppose magnetic okay. Previous knowledge is youtube so need suggestions. Will checkout Harbor Freight and let all know.

I think you will really like the magnetic bell housings. They are much easier to work with without any fasteners. Just sort of slip them up in place and let the magnetism do it's job — much easier than the old school bolt them on approach ...

If you choose not to use a magnetic bellhousing here is a link on the right way to align the bellhousing to the crankshaft centerline, click here => Bell Housing Alignment — the Right Way.

Thanks, very informative . Especially the explanation over the 7 inch of shaft and end result. So much for the old days of hammer on to pins, bolt it and call good.
