Default Battery Ground

Hi, all Superformance owners. Quick question...

For all superformance owners, could someone direct me to where the ground cable is run from the battery to the trunk to underneath the car? There is an obvious hole from the battery compartment in the trunk to underneath the car
but I can't find where the cable was grounded too?

I have a superformance MKIII and long story short I was out on the track with the car and the battery shifted and the ground cable pulled off from the frame I have no idea where the cable was grounded to the car. Inspection under the car yielded no obvious clues.

What is your chassis number?

This is just a guess. If the cable end pulled off the cable and is still in place, look for it around where the starter is attached to the engine.

The ground cable chassis mount is near the battery and is attached to the frame with a bolt located between the battery and the tail light. If you press on the small section of the carpeting in the trunk between them, you will feel the bolt head. Actual connection is under the car.
If you (or anyone else) sends me an email I’ll send a photo of some nice keepers for the battery you can source locally using the 2 existing rods on the car. Inexpensive and an easy fix assuming you have the proper size battery installed.
My contact info is below.

P.S. I recommend you add your Superformance chassis number to your personal data displayed or in every posted question you make. I have 6 different versions of the Wiring Diagrams available, all dependent on a chassis number to get the correct version.
